This tour offers a mix of adventure and relaxation. Our focus is on authentic cultural immersion, letting you connect with the local lifestyle and savor delicious Moroccan cuisine.
This tour begins with a pickup in Marrakech and transportation to the village of Imlil about 45 minutes from Marrakech. You’ll be greeted by your host for the day who will welcome you with a Moroccan tea ceremony as well as the opportunity to see how bread is traditionally made in this area. Then you’ll head out for a walk through the village to see examples of life in rural Morocco. Guests who want to take a short hike can do so – your host will discuss specific options with you. Finally you’ll enjoy a very local lunch overlooking the village before heading back to the city.

Important Notes
This tour is in a mountain region. We advise those who book be prepared. This tour is NOT suited for people who have difficulties walking as there are dirt walkways, hills and uneven surfaces.
This tour is run as a private experience. We keep our group sizes small so that you have the space to experience your tour as though you are with friends and not one of many.
This tour requires a minimum of 2 guests.
This is a full day trip in the High Atlas Mountains. We advise our guests to wear good shoes for walking and also be prepared for changing weather. Keep in mind the weather in the city, is not representative of what it may be like in the mountain regions. Tours last all day with a flexible return time, but plan to be back in Marrakech around 4pm.
The driver will pick you up at your accommodation however please be prepared for an on-time departure. Our tours operate in all weather, however if there are inclement conditions in the mountains we may cancel at the last moment for everyone’s safety.
